Grade 8 Information Night at Brooklin High School is scheduled, virtually, for Thursday February 4th, 2021, 7:00 pm via Zoom Webinar.

We expect a large audience of over 400 parents, so please register ahead of time using this link: 

Grade 8 Info Night Registration

We will be presenting information about the Ontario Secondary School Diploma requirements and specific information about the Grade 9 program at Brooklin High School. 

We will discuss course selection procedures that will reinforce what our family of schools have been discussing with Grade 8 students.

Our Guidance Department is virtually visiting our Family of Schools and Grade 8 classes in February. 

Our Family of Schools include:

• Blair Ridge PS
• Brooklin Village PS
• Chris Hadfield PS
• Winchester PS

If students are living in the Brooklin community and are attending other elementary regional programs, such as, Gifted and French Immersion, then your registration and course selection is considered internal. If students wish to attend Brooklin HS instead of continuing in a specialized regional program in secondary school, then students should already have notified their Grade 8 teachers.

If students and families live within the Brooklin High School boundary and are external to the Durham District School Board then we will register those students as New Students. This would include students who attend St. Bridget CS, St. John Paul II CS and St. Leo CS. This would also include students who are moving to the Brooklin community and are not currently attending a Durham District School Board.
